Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants

Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants are lubricants that fulfil the following requirements: They have to be biodegradable, minimally toxic and non-bioaccumulative. According to US regulations under the Vessel General Permit (VGP), products meet the definition of being environmentally acceptable if they bear certain labels, e.g. the European Ecolabel. The VGP compliance of LUKOIL Marine’s EAL products is confirmed in the Declaration of ComplianceInstructions for changing over from mineral oil to EALs are available here.

PLANTOSYN HVI

High performance, rapidly biodegrading hydraulic and lubricating oils based on saturated synthetic esters. Fully compliant with ISO15380: HEES and OECD-Guideline 301B. The grade range is holds the EU Ecolabel. 46 HVI and 68 HVI are also applicable for highly loaded gears requiring FZG-Stage >12.

PLANTOGEAR S

High performance, rapidly biodegrading synthetic ester based gear oil, PLANTOGEAR S oils are fully compliant with the DIN 51 517-3 standard and are approved by major gear manufacturers. The grade range is holds the EU Ecolabel.
